What We Offer

With two locations in Great Falls, we offer patients easy access and a first-rate facility with Doctors of Physical Therapy who meet the highest standards of education, training and experience. Our objective is to provide an effective and holistic approach to care that is both restorative and preventative.

The Great Falls Movement Center location is dedicated to orthopedic manual therapy, recovery and sport performance care.

  • We utilize various manual therapy techniques along with skilled exercise to address your pain and injury. All appointments are one hour long directly with your physical therapist.

  • For individuals who have completed PT to treat an injury but still want to work on wellness or sport goals, a skilled therapist can work with you on personalized or sport-specific exercises. This service is not covered by insurance.

  • After your traditional PT Program has ended we focus on exercise and training tailored to your sport and mechanics to make sure you can get back to play without re-injury.

  • We conduct a functional assessment, review your sport-specific goals, determine where you may be at risk for injury, and provide you with exercises and instruction to improve your skills and prevent injury.

  • GFPT has monthly events designed to promote the health and wellness of our community members. Please contact us about our events!

The Village Centre Location

  • Our pediatric program includes therapy for ages 2-21. With pediatric populations, the focus is centralized around participation and function in day to day activities. Therapy is often more play or skill based, to encourage a strong carry over into every day life! Therapy consists of gross motor strengthening, balance and coordination, postural control, and ensuring a fun time for all! Diagnoses we treated include: Gross motor delays, Developmental delay, Toe walking, Hypotonia (low tone), Developmental coordination disorders, Neurodevelopmental disorders, Autism.

  • We assess your home workstation to identify changes to improve posture, mechanics, and minimize pain. We also provide exercises tailored to your needs to allow you to get through the workday pain free. This service is also offered to local businesses to address the needs of their employees.

  • We offer services from a skilled hand therapist to help people recover from acute and chronic hand injuries, rehabilitate after hand surgery, and return to activities they love with less pain and better movement.

  • Restores the connection between the brain and the body due to various conditions or injury. Therapy targets balance, coordination and function to help return and maintain your ability to complete daily tasks.

Our original location in the heart of Great Falls continues to service patients. We have more specialized care here with tailored PT services beyond the orthopedic world.

Our Approach Matters

Focus on Individual

We focus on each individual. Not every injury occurs for the same reason. We treat you as a whole.

Dedicated Therapist

We see you for a full clinical hour of treatment per patient. Traditional in-network see up to 3 patients per hour with only 20 minutes with a PT.

Private Rooms

Your appointment is tailored to you, in a space designed for just you. We do not have open shared treatment rooms.

Best Evidence

Our PTs determine your treatment plan based on best current practices and evidence. We do not let insurance companies dictate your treatment.

  • GFPT strives to provide the best care to all patients. Because GFPT is out-of-network, we are able to tailor our appointments and take the extra time to make sure you get the care you need. This allows our patients to get better more efficiently than a traditional factory PT setting and minimizes long term costs.

  • GFPT is out of network with all insurance companies including Medicare. Your payment is due at time of service. For your convenience, we verify your insurance coverage and provide you with an estimate of your out-of- pocket costs before your initial evaluation. We also bill and submit to your claim to your insurance company on your behalf. After meeting your deductible, your insurance company will send your reimbursement to you directly. We are able to use health savings accounts for payment.

  • Virginia is a Direct Access State. This allows for most patients to directly access a physical therapist without a physician referral. For more information about Direct Access, please visit the American Physical Therapy Association website. *Medicare patients require MD referral for PT.
